Work With Me
A website shaped around what your business actually needs.
When you work with a web designer on a new website, a thoughtful redesign, or ongoing support for the one you already have, the project should begin by understanding where your business is now, what is holding it back, and what will help it move forward.
Strategy, structure, content, design, development, and long-term support can all become part of the same carefully shaped process.

A Process Shaped Around Your Project
Clear enough to guide us. Flexible enough to fit the work.
The process has a structure, but it is never forced into a fixed formula. Each stage responds to what your project needs and what we learn along the way.
Free consultation
We begin with a conversation about your business, your current website or idea, what is not working, and what you hope the project will make possible.
Scope and proposal
You receive a detailed proposal and contract defining the agreed work, the project stages, optional additions, timing, and a clear fixed price for the approved scope.
Strategy, content, and structure
Before design begins, we shape the foundation: audience, priorities, pages, navigation, messaging, and the information each part of the website needs to communicate.
Design and development
The visual direction and working website take shape together, with ongoing review, clear decisions, and room to refine ideas as the project becomes real.
Testing, launch, and handoff
The website is tested across devices, prepared for launch, and reviewed with you so you understand the finished site and know what happens next.
Every project is collaborative, personal, and shaped around the people behind the work. Learn more about Nyx and the way I work.
Support That Continues After Launch
A website is not finished simply because it is live.
Businesses change. Services grow. Technology moves. Questions appear after the launch, not only before it. Support remains available in the way that makes sense for you.
The launch is the beginning of the website’s real life.
Maintenance and technical care
Hosting administration, backups, security monitoring, software updates, uptime checks, and the ongoing work that keeps the site stable and dependable.
Content updates and new needs
Adding services, revising pages, publishing new material, changing calls to action, and helping the website continue to reflect the business as it evolves.
Continued visibility and readiness
Ongoing improvements to structure, content, SEO foundations, structured data, and AI readiness as search technology and the needs of the site change.
Support without disappearing
Help can be arranged as ongoing care or provided when a specific need arises. Either way, you are not left alone with a website you do not know how to manage.
Frequently Asked Questions
What working together can look like.
Answers about project fit, collaboration, scope, and the decisions we make along the way.
What kind of project is the right fit for Nyx?
Nyx is built for small businesses and independent professionals who want more than a website that simply looks polished.
The strongest fit is someone who wants a thoughtful, custom online presence, values honest collaboration, and is willing to take the time to build something that truly reflects the work behind the business.
You do not need to arrive with technical knowledge or a finished plan. What matters most is that you care about the result and are open to a process shaped around clarity, strategy, and real conversation.
Do I need to know exactly what I need before we begin?
No. In many cases, figuring that out is one of the first and most important parts of the process.
That is exactly what the initial consultation is for. It is intentionally not a rushed or superficial call, because we need enough time to understand your business, your audience, what is already working, what is not, and what still feels unclear.
You can come with a detailed plan, a collection of ideas, or simply the sense that something needs to change. We will make sense of it together and turn it into a clear direction.
Can you help with only part of my website project?
Yes. Not every project needs a complete rebuild, and not every client needs every service at once.
I can help with strategy, content, structure, redesign, SEO foundations, accessibility, AI readiness, technical improvements, or ongoing support as a focused part of a larger website project.
The important part is making sure the piece we choose to work on is actually the right solution. I will not recommend an isolated fix simply because it is the quickest option if the underlying problem sits somewhere else.
What is included in a typical website project?
Every project is different, but a full website may include strategy, audience mapping, site structure, content writing, visual identity, custom design, WordPress development, SEO foundations, accessibility, integrations, AI readiness, and launch support.
Sometimes several of those pieces are necessary to reach the strongest result. That does not mean everything has to happen at once.
My process can be modular. We can decide together which issues matter most now, address those first, and build the remaining work in thoughtful stages. The goal is not to do more for the sake of doing more. It is to create the clearest path toward the result your business actually needs.
How involved will I need to be during the project?
You will not need to manage the project or make technical decisions alone. I lead the process, organize the work, explain the choices, and keep everything moving.
But the project cannot become one-sided. I will need your knowledge, your feedback, your approvals, and your willingness to stay present as decisions are made.
A website can only reflect your business accurately when you remain part of the conversation. You do not need to know how to build it, but you cannot disappear from the process and still expect the final result to feel genuinely yours.
Can you work with my existing branding, content, or website?
Absolutely. Good work does not always require starting over.
We can keep what is still strong, refine what needs improvement, reorganize existing content, update the design, or rebuild only the parts that are holding the website back.
There are also situations where a partial update would not be the responsible recommendation. If the current platform is outdated, the content no longer reflects the business, the structure creates problems, or the site falls too far behind current best practices, rebuilding may be more efficient and more sustainable than continuing to patch it.
I will explain that honestly and help you understand why before we decide how to proceed.
What happens if the project changes along the way?
Projects evolve. New needs appear, priorities shift, and sometimes a better direction becomes clear only after the work has begun.
When that happens, I am there throughout the process to help evaluate the change, explain how it affects the scope, timeline, or budget, and decide with you what makes the most sense.
Nothing is added quietly and nothing moves forward without a conversation. The original scope gives us clarity, but it does not prevent us from adapting when the project genuinely needs to.
Your Website, Your Next Step
You do not need to know the exact solution before we talk.
Bring the idea, the problem, the outdated website, or the half-formed plan. We can begin by figuring out what your business actually needs.
