Accessibility commitment

The goal of this website is to provide meaningful access to its information, services, and contact options for people with disabilities. Accessibility is treated as an ongoing part of design, development, content, testing, and maintenance rather than as a one-time feature.

Nyx welcomes feedback from people who encounter barriers. When a problem is reported, the aim is to understand it, respond in good faith, and provide a reasonable accessible alternative while the issue is reviewed.

Standard and approach

Nyx uses the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA as a working target. WCAG is an international accessibility standard organized around four principles: content should be perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust.

This statement describes an accessibility goal and an ongoing process. It is not a claim that every page, feature, browser, device, plugin, or assistive-technology combination is free from every possible barrier.

Measures taken

Accessibility work on this site includes attention to:

• Logical page structure and meaningful heading order.
• Keyboard access and visible focus states for interactive elements.
• Readable typography, responsive layouts, and sufficient color contrast.
• Alternative text for meaningful images and appropriate treatment of decorative images.
• Descriptive links, clear buttons, and understandable navigation.
• Form labels, instructions, validation, and understandable error handling.
• Support for zoom, text resizing, and different screen sizes without unnecessary loss of content.
• Reduced-motion support for visitors who prefer less animation.
• Ongoing automated checks together with manual review and correction.

Accessibility toolbar

This website includes the OneTap accessibility toolbar, available through the accessibility icon displayed on the site. It provides optional, visitor-controlled adjustments that may make the site easier to use, including changes to text presentation, contrast, link visibility, motion, and other display or interaction preferences.

Testing and ongoing improvement

The site is reviewed using a combination of automated accessibility tools, keyboard testing, responsive testing, and manual inspection of content and interface components. New pages and material are intended to follow the same accessibility practices.

Automated tools can identify many common issues, but they cannot determine whether every experience is accessible. Manual review, user feedback, and correction remain part of the process.

Known and possible limitations

Despite ongoing efforts, some barriers may not yet have been identified. Accessibility can also vary across browsers, devices, assistive technologies, operating-system settings, and third-party components.

Content or functionality provided by an external service or WordPress plugin may not always be fully controlled by Nyx. When a limitation is identified, reasonable efforts will be made to correct it, replace the affected component, or provide another way to access the information or service.

If you have difficulty using any part of this website, please get in touch. It is helpful to include the page or feature involved, what you were trying to do, and, if you are comfortable sharing it, the browser, device, or assistive technology you were using.

Nyx will make a good-faith effort to review the issue as promptly as reasonably possible and to provide the information, communication, or service in an accessible alternative format when one is needed and reasonably available.

Legal and technical context

The United States Department of Justice provides guidance on web accessibility and the Americans with Disabilities Act. California civil-rights laws also protect equal access to businesses and services.

Nyx uses WCAG 2.2 Level AA as a practical technical benchmark while continuing to monitor applicable accessibility guidance and requirements.

Changes to this statement

This Accessibility Statement may be updated as the website changes, accessibility work continues, tools are added or removed, or applicable guidance and requirements develop. The “Last updated” date will be changed when the statement is revised.
